What Do You Want to Do?
(And Why That Question Isn’t So Simple)
🌱 The Question That Sticks
It’s funny how one question can follow you for years…
“What do you want to do?”
I remember sitting in a college advisement office staring at that question like it was written in a different language.
There were so many options…
and I didn’t know which one was right for me.
🧭 Back Then
They gave me a questionnaire based on my interests.
What I liked.
How I thought.
What I was naturally drawn to.
It pointed me in a few directions…
But it also came with something bigger:
- Classes
- Time
- Money
- And the pressure to choose before I was ready
🔄 What’s Different Now
Fast forward to today…
That same idea still exists—
figuring out what fits you.
But the way we get there?
So much simpler.
Now, there are questionnaires that still guide you based on your interests…
But instead of locking you into one path—
they open the door to explore.
✨ The Part I Wish We Had Back Then
There are 40+ learning options available now.
Not years of commitment…
But options you can explore in:
- Hours
- Days
- Or a few weeks
No pressure.
No long-term commitment.
No loans just to see if you even like something 😅
Just the ability to:
- Learn
- Try
- Pivot
🌿 Not Just for Beginners
This isn’t only for people starting from scratch.
It’s also for people who already have something going—
A business
An idea
A product
…and just need more people to see it.
Because learning how to:
- Share what you do
- Create simple content
- Talk about your work in a way people understand
- Build real connections
Those are skills too.
And they matter.
🤍 A Better Question
I think a lot of us are still asking:
“What do I want to do?”
But maybe the better question now is:
👉 “What do I want to explore?”
🌾 If You’re Curious
If you’re in that place of figuring things out…
or even trying to grow something you’ve already started—
