How I Found the Amazon Influencer Program
When I first started blogging and learning about affiliate links, I had no idea how many different ways there were to earn online.
At the beginning, I thought blogging just meant writing articles and adding links to things you liked. That alone felt like a lot to learn, and I was still trying to understand how websites, WordPress, and affiliate programs all worked together.
Then I started noticing something.
I kept seeing people online talking about Amazon links, product reviews, and videos where they showed things they used in their everyday life. Some of them weren’t doing anything fancy. They were just sharing what they bought, what they liked, or what worked for them.
That’s when I first heard about the Amazon Influencer Program.
At first, I thought it was only for big creators or people with huge followings. I didn’t think someone like me would even qualify. But the more I looked into it, the more I realized that it wasn’t about being famous. It was about sharing real products and real experiences.
That caught my attention right away.
I was already trying products.
I was already writing blog posts.
I was already learning how affiliate links worked.
So the idea that I could make videos or posts about things I actually used in my normal life made sense to me.
The more I learned, the more I realized that the Amazon Influencer Program was just another step in the same path I had already been on.
Writing turned into blogging.
Blogging turned into affiliate links.
Affiliate links turned into product reviews.
And product reviews led me to the Amazon Influencer Program.
It didn’t happen all at once.
I had to learn as I went. I had to figure things out one step at a time, just like I had with everything else online. Some things worked, some things didn’t, and a lot of the time I felt like I had no idea what I was doing.
But that seems to be how most of this journey has gone.
Looking back now, I can see that every step led to the next one, even when I didn’t know where I was headed.
Finding the Amazon Influencer Program wasn’t something I planned.
It was just another piece of the puzzle that showed up once I started learning how the online world really works.
And once I understood that, it opened the door to even more ways to share what I use, what I learn, and what I’m building from home.
