Barnyard Rubble and Me
Some of the best years of my working life were spent meeting and talking with my clients! I love helping people solve problems and becoming a resource to make someone’s life better.
Meaning Behind the Name
Why I chose the name Barnyard Rubble. Imagine standing in the middle of a farmyard, wide-open spaces, fresh clean air, no traffic noise and you can hear the whisper of the wind, maybe smell a little cow poop or hear some birds chirping and a fuzzy dirty farm cat nuzzling and purring at your feet. In the quiet of Rural America, I was able to find what truly brought me joy and created a business. And so the name Barnyard Rubble came to life.
More About Cleo and who I am
Hi there. I’m Cleo. The creator, visionary, dreamer, cheerleader and entrepreneur at heart! I am the wife of a farmer, grandma, mom, crafty do it yourself, kinda gal. I love trying and learning new things! I would label myself as a lifetime learner. But, most of all I am me.
I am a loyal friend, devoted wife, mom, grandma and the best darn employee a company could ever have. I love people. I love sharing with people and meeting new people. I am resourceful, reliable and blatantly honest. There are no grey areas with me. I love spending time with people, and figuring out how things work…the psychology of it all. But spending time getting to know people and building relationships is the most important part of my life.
The Busy Years
After raising my children in a different type of society, I can’t help but notice how much it has changed. Today, college is not a necessity to earn a decent living. Now, as much as society would like to have you believe that still, it simply is not true. If you have the grit, wherewithal, and desire, the world card is in the deck and the possibilities for you are endless. Of course, that is my personal opinion.
So Many Options
I am utterly amazed at the possibilities in today’s world with online and social media for a career path or life’s work. You see, back in the day (about 44 years ago) when I began working, the road to success took a lifetime and there were many rungs on my ladder. They probably don’t use the term, Climbing the Ladder of Success too much now. Or the glass ceiling…. but maybe. I have no idea if they still use those terms.
Back Then
I still remember the day when computers were new, atm’s, digital receivers and senders, those big brick mobile phones in a suitcase along with beepers and the very first text messages. A phone with a cord and cable, too! MTV… the good old days. But was it? Today is just so different and exciting! I am glad you are here reading this. Thank you!
